Stability
This plan is designed to keep your rates stable from year to year by:
- "Fully Pooling" your claims with all other participants. You can't be targeted for a rate increase because of unusually high claims. All firms share in the risk equally.
- Running the plan on a non-profit basis. Premiums are set to cover the cost of benefits and administration only. There's no parent company making a profit at your expense.
- Refusing to offer artificially low rates to attract business, then escalating premiums to make up for losses.
From day one, you will enjoy the plan's easy-to-use materials. From the administration guide, to employee booklets and claim forms, we use clear language and straight-forward instructions.
You and your employees can call the National Service Line toll-free from anywhere in Canada. You can follow up on claims or get answers to any other questions you have about the plan.
Premium payment is simple, too. The statements are clear and you can pay by your choice of cheque or pre-authorized payments from your chequing account.
Credibility
The Chambers of Commerce Insurance Plan is operated for Chamber people by Chamber people.
Your Firm is eligible no matter what industry you're in and whether you've got one or twenty-one employees.
In firms with five or more people, employees are guaranteed coverage.
